Established in 2000 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Turning Point Partners (TPP) opened a sister program in Memphis, Tennessee (TPP-TN) in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina displaced founder and Chief Executive Office, Jean Handley. Dedicated to transforming vulnerable communities into safe, connected and healthy places to live, Handley brought her vision of utilizing restorative practices and community building to support victims, incarcerated adults and youth, communities and the organizations that support them to bring about real change in communities, systems and in the hearts of individuals.
