The Neighborhood Conferencing Committees Program (NCCP) is a community-based intervention program for the rehabilitation of young juvenile offenders. It is designed to involve the neighborhood in restorative justice. They provide community based intervention, committees of representatives from schools, neighborhood residents, YSD program counselors, participation is mandated by pre-trial court diversion, and committees meet with the offender and his/her family to contract for specific behaviors.
